Flückiger Georges (Grand-Lancy)

I received my basic training in physiotherapy in Geneva and additional training in Global Postural Rehabilitation (Mézière) in St-Mont, France. Attracted by osteopathic impulse techniques (known as "manipulation techniques"), I completed my training in etiopathy at the Centre Européen d'Etiopathie in Geneva.

After 5 years of "cracking", I felt the need to practice gentler techniques. Initiation to micro-physiotherapy, then to somato-emotional osteopathy in Aix-en-Provence with François Laurent, osteopath in Marseille.

I gradually discovered that symptoms, most often physical, do not only have physical origins. The physico-psycho-spiritual dimension and its various links opened up to me.

It was also the beginning of my own personal development. I realize that it's not possible to accompany others on their life path and symptoms without addressing my own life history and emotional difficulties.

I then completed my training by entering the physical-energetic and spiritual dimension with Rita Dowling, an Irish healer, and in fundamental energy with a French itinerant. Then, after a brief introduction to biological decoding (meaning and symbolism of the osteoarticular system) and Reiki (1st level), I trained in spiritual healing according to the writings of Alice Bailey with Helen Loxton, and in osteodouce with Jacky Roux .

More than a technique learned elsewhere, I'm gradually discovering who I am and what my technique is. What I've learned and practiced today is movement and energy. Movement is life and life is energy.

I contact the physical or etheric body with both hands, then listen to whether movement is present and therefore energy. When there is "disharmony", I let the body (and energy) work until I feel a change and a new balance in my hands. As Andrew Taylor STILL, the founder of osteopathy, said: "Find it, fix it and leave it alone".

In parallel with my career as a therapist, I work as a lecturer at the Geneva University of Health in the "physiotherapy" department. This allows me to enrich my own knowledge, for as the Talmud says: "I have learned much from my teachers, even more from my colleagues than from my teachers, and even more from my students than from my colleagues". In a very similar way, my loved ones have also helped me discover more and more about who I am, and it's a daily gift (a gift) to share life with them.
