Osteopathic treatment is covered by supplementary insurance, an option for alternative medicine and LAA/UVG accident insurance.

Your osteopath is registered with the RME (Registre de la médecine empirique) by clicking on the RME logo.

The first consultation lasts an average of 45 minutes, with follow-up sessions lasting between 30 and 45 minutes.

A consultation turns over :

Anamnesis: A systemic analysis is performed to determine the origin of the complaint.

Osteopathic diagnosis: also known as a diagnosis of exclusion, which sometimes leads the osteopath to refer you to your doctor.

Treatment: Depending on the patient, different techniques may be used (structural, visceral, functional, craniosacral, needle techniques, K-tape, etc.).

At the end of the sessions, you will receive advice on how to avoid certain actions that are responsible for your mechanical injuries.

If you have X-ray reports or films, it's a good idea to take them with you.

The practice of osteopathy is comprehensive and manual. We therefore ask you to undress in your underwear. To feel comfortable, please wear suitable clothing.

In order not to interfere with the treatment, it is preferable not to engage in any physical or sporting activity for more or less 2 days.

The interval between sessions is generally 1 to 2 weeks.

Support comprises around 1 to 4 sessions, but depends on the complaint.

A follow-up visit once or twice a year is usual.
