Osteopathy is a manual therapy of first resort.

Its aim is to treat reversible functional disorders of the human body.

Osteopathy is suitable for everyone, from newborns to the elderly, pregnant women, post-partum patients and athletes. Treatment is adapted to the patient's age and state of health.

There are many indications for osteopathic treatment:

functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system: cervicalgia, dorsalgia, lumbago, costalgia, sprains, pain in the upper or lower limb, functional neuralgia (sciaticgia, cervico-brachial neuralgia...), etc.

functional disorders of the digestive system: constipation, diarrhea, non-organic stomach pain, gastroesophageal reflux, etc.

functional disorders of the genito-urinary sphere: dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain), dyspareunia (pain during intercourse), recurrent urinary tract infection, painful perineal syndrome, etc.

functional disorders of the ENT and cranial spheres: sinusitis, otitis, functional vertigo, bruxism and jaw joint pain, migraine, tension headache, etc.

In Switzerland, osteopathy is recognized by supplementary insurance companies and, since 2004, has benefited from a Bachelor-Master HES-SO training program at the Haute école de santé de Fribourg.

Since 2004, every osteopath has had to pass an intercantonal examination (CDS-GDK) developed by the Swiss Commission of Cantonal Health Directors.
