Osteopathy is a holistic method of treatment in which theoretical and scientific knowledge are of central importance. In addition to anatomical, physiological and biomechanical knowledge, the osteopath has proven skills in manual techniques. Feeling and subtlety are combined with solid theoretical knowledge to achieve a structured treatment. Osteopathy, which is applied in our clinic, is therefore anything but a vague alternative form of therapy! It is much more a complementary form of therapy to western medicine. Osteopathy is a diagnostic and therapeutic procedure; a holistic, manual healing method. It does not treat diseases, but sick persons.
