First, your health concerns and problems are discussed. This means that your medical history is taken in detail in order to be able to specifically search for previous traumas, past and present illnesses in order to bring them into connection with your current complaints.

In the subsequent careful examination, the entire body is manually examined for loss of movement or disturbing tensions that could be causing your complaints.

In osteopathy the following is integrated into the examination and treatment:

Musculoskeletal system: Good mobility of joints, muscles, tendons and connective tissue.

Internal organs (Visceral Osteopathy): Good functioning and free mobility of the internal organs with their blood and lymph vessels and the corresponding parts of the nervous system.

The Cranio-Sacral System (Cranio-Sacral Osteopathy) Free mobility of the meninges with their connections at the skull and sacrum. The mobile structure of the cranial bones and sacrum, connected by the inelastic dural tube, form a functional unit.

After the osteopathic examination, the osteopath educates the patient about the blockages and connections found.

During the treatment, the patient should be as relaxed as possible. The targeted therapeutic grips are now applied. The aim is to gently normalize the loss of movement and disturbing tension relationships that have been found.
