Osteopathy Man Still includes in osteopathy the knowledge of philosophy, anatomy and physiology of the whole body, together with clinical application in both diagnosis and treatment. Still's approach is highly complex in that it combines vitalistic thinking with mechanistic action. He discovered that the body has self-healing powers. When these are appropriately stimulated, in his case by mechanical pressure from his hands, physical and functional dysfunctions are positively affected. The palpation of so-called dysfunctions in the tissues makes it possible to find the actual cause of a disorder, which may be far removed from the acute symptoms. Osteopathy horse/ equine

After a thorough examination, which can sometimes take an hour, the most important points are treated manually with fine techniques. This can be directly at the joints for orthopedic problems, muscles are massaged and fasciae are loosened.
