Who is osteopathy aimed at? Basically, osteopathic medicine is aimed at people of all ages. The focus is mainly on functional disorders of the various body systems. It is not the symptoms that determine whether osteopathic treatment is indicated, but the cause. If the cause is a loss of function, then osteopathy can be used for many clinical pictures; e.g. chronic pain, after traumatic events (accidents, operations, whiplash, etc.), back pain, headaches or digestive problems.

Procedure of treatment The consultation starts with a detailed anamnesis (medical history), followed by a test phase and a resulting manual treatment. If necessary, further medical clarifications are discussed.

Recognition and health insurances Almost all Swiss health insurances now reimburse osteopathic treatment through corresponding supplementary insurances. If you have questions about the reimbursement, please contact your health insurance directly.

Patients are asked to cancel their appointment 24 hours in advance if they are unable to attend, otherwise the treatment will be charged.
