Osteopathy addresses

• Infants: sleep disorders, agitation, nervousness, certain neurological disorders, strabismus, regurgitation, false routes, otitis, sinusitis, rhinopharyngitis, asthma, colic, cranial deformities (forceps, suction cup, positional plagiocephaly, etc.).
• Children/adolescents: clubfoot, congenital torticollis, scoliosis, kyphosis, colic, hyperactivity, dental problems and complementary orthodontic work.
• Adults
• Elderly: Stiffness, rheumatism (to relieve pain associated with arthrosis or arthritis), venous return disorders and varicose veins.
• Pregnant women: Pregnancy follow-up, childbirth assistance, post-partum follow-up for rapid recovery of various functions.
• Sportsmen and women: Sprains, tendonitis, traumas, pre-competition preparation and post-competition physical recovery, acute or chronic muscular pain.

Osteopathy addresses functional disorders, i.e. those that do not require surgery, degenerative diseases (cancer, Hunter's disease, myopathy, neurodegenerative diseases: Alzheimer's disease, Creutzfeld-Jacob disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis...) or genetic disorders (harelip, cystic fibrosis, hereditary neuromuscular diseases, congenital metabolic diseases...). It is not intended for infections either.

In all these cases, the osteopath's main aim is to intervene, as a complementary therapy, on pain or disturbances of the musculoskeletal system, as well as their repercussions on certain internal organs.

Course of a session An osteopathic session lasts an average of 45 minutes.

It is divided into 3 parts:

• Medical history
• Clinical examination
• Treatment The reason for consultation will determine the number of sessions required.

This can vary from one to several sessions, depending on the origin of the pain.
