The targeted relaxation, the contemplation, the tranquility through bodywork is, based on my many years of experience, an effective and usually also a very pleasant way.

I mainly use the following three methods in my practice:

• Shiatsu
• osteopathy
• Spiritual healing

Close cooperation with specialists from other medical fields is important to me. Not all complaints can be treated with massage and relaxation techniques. For which complaints is osteopathy suitable? Osteopathy, like homeopathy or acupuncture for example, is an independent medical direction that can be used for a great many health disorders. Osteopathy can help in both chronic and acute cases, as it helps to restore the integrity of the disturbed areas. In this way, the body's inherent self-healing powers can work again and the patient is restored to a state of health. Osteopathy works in the parietal tissue ( = active and passive musculoskeletal system), in the visceral tissue ( = organs), in the fascial tissue ( = body and organ fascia), and in the cranio-sacral area ( = skull, meninges, sacrum).

What happens during a treatment?

Before each initial treatment, a detailed anamnesis interview takes place. It is important for the osteopath to know which traumas (incl. birth traumas), accidents, dental corrections and diseases you have been through. Subsequently, the body is subjected to a detailed inspection. This is done while standing, sitting and lying down. With various tests, the most important osteopathic dysfunctions (movement restrictions in the tissue) are searched for in the body and then treated with appropriate techniques. The treatment takes place on the therapy couch.
