Osteopathy is a medical treatment method that views people from a holistic perspective and takes into account the mutual interactivity of various endogenous systems. Basically, osteopathy assumes that all human systems are interconnected and influence each other. Body structures and functions are interconnected and must function without restriction for people to remain healthy.

With targeted manual stimuli applied in the parietal (parietal system: includes bones, joints, muscles ...), visceral (visceral system: includes internal organs, blood and lymph vessels ...) and craniosacral (system: includes skull, spine , sacrum and nervous system) systems, the osteopath uses the interactivity between the systems to stimulate the patient's self-healing powers. Cross-cutting relationships such as an organic disorder due to a blockage in a joint or vice versa are sought and treated in osteopathy. Osteopathy thus differs from classical medicine, which essentially treats symptomatically.
