HOW DOES A A SESSION? During an initial consultation, the osteopath will carry out a full interview, including the reason for consultation, the patient's personal and family history, and lifestyle habits. Once this information has been gathered, a clinical examination is carried out to rule out any pathology requiring medical treatment.

At this stage, if the osteopath considers that osteopathic treatment is warranted, a series of osteopathic tests will be carried out. Finally, on the basis of the interview, the results of the clinical examination and the osteopathic tests carried out, the practitioner will provide the patient with an appropriate manual treatment aimed at restoring mobility to hypomobile structures.

Generally, a second session is scheduled to assess the progress of the complaint and ensure the patient is properly cared for. Depending on the results obtained, it will be determined whether or not follow-up treatment is necessary.
