During the first consultation a comprehensive anamnesis and examination of the patient is performed. The past plays an important role, as previous, even seemingly insignificant injuries, operations or illnesses can be the origin of the current complaints. X-rays and laboratory results obtained by the general practitioner or specialist can complete the examination.
For treatment, the osteopath has a variety of techniques from the parietal, visceral and craniosacral systems at his or her disposal. The therapy is manual and is individually adapted to the patient.
A treatment usually lasts one hour and is repeated at regular intervals as needed.
A medical referral is not necessary.
In general, your health insurance will contribute to the costs, provided you have taken out supplementary insurance for complementary medicine.
Parking is available in the COOP parking lot, the Migros parking lot and a limited number of blue zone parking spaces on the main street in Binningen.
